A surprise alter ego

Two days after headlining the festival on April 25, Wilson shared a TikTok showing she went undercover. In a black wig she slipped into a California-girl accent and introduced herself as "Britney West from Temecula" while sitting in a glam chair. In her natural Louisiana drawl she joked she couldn’t speak like that without the wig and said, "I got it fried, dyed and laid to the side baby." A member of her team called the persona "annoying" as she tried it on, then, donning sunglasses, a hat and a new outfit, she walked the grounds saying into her mic, "They have absolutely no clue."
