Kroll hid the engagement ring and a bouquet inside a box at the new house he shared with Kwong, a landscape artist. When he asked her to move the box she grew annoyed and opened it, turning the surprise into an awkward but sweet moment. Styles checked in afterward and was the first person Kroll told; he said Styles gave them his blessing.

Wedding and Family

Kroll has said the couple exchanged vows in an intimate cliffside ceremony in Big Sur. Styles later surprised the newlyweds with a large bouquet, and Kroll jokingly called him the future guardian of their children. Kroll and Kwong welcomed son Leo in January 2021 and daughter Gaia in 2023.
